המצפה היווה חלק מפיתוח מערכת ראשונה מסוגה המאפשרת שליטה על ציוד מחקר (כגון מצלמת CCD, גלגל פילטרים, פוקוסר ממונע, חצובה רובוטית, תחנת מזג אוויר ועוד) במצפה כוכבים דרך רשת האינטרנט, מכל מקום בעולם. המערכת כבר מתפקדת במספר מקומות כגון ישראל, אוסטרליה וארה"ב.
צפה בסרט ה V.O.D מהשידור הישיר "גאמי השמיים העמוקים" שנערך על ידי טלסקופ האינטרנט. צילום של ערפיליות, גלקסיות, אסטרואידים ועוד. בליווי הסברים מפי אסטרונום מפלנטריום אדלר (Adler U.S.A) ארה"ב.
